Frequently asked questions

How many images can I use?

You can add up to 300 images per project, with a limit of 30 MB per file. For smooth playback, keep the total frame count reasonable.

Why does my GIF look grainy?

GIF supports at most 256 colors per frame. Photos with gradients lose detail, so reduce the output size or simplify the source images for a cleaner result.

Can I keep a transparent background?

Yes. Transparency is preserved when the source images contain transparent pixels. Otherwise choose a background color that matches your page.

Does the GIF loop?

Yes. It loops forever by default. Set a repeat count if you want it to stop after a specific number of plays.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are read and encoded in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or a third-party API.
